Background
Shaoguan Power Plant is a large-scale backbone power generation enterprise under Guangdong Yuedian Group Co., Ltd., founded in 1958, with more than 1,200 employees. The factory covers an area of about 3 million square meters. This power plant plays an extremely important role in stabilizing the power grid.
Requirements
There are 2 managers and 16 servers in different district of Shaoguan Power Plant. The servers include Windows, Linux, and Sun. The solution is expected to achieve centralized management of server at the same time. In order to do that, the IT staff are needed to control the servers from the remote control room or their own computers. In addition, different permissions are set for different managers so that they can manage servers without interruption. Permissions that are not accessible are classified according to the user’s account. The single port is convenient for managing.

- System management: The system manager uses system management to manage the integrated management of IP groups, authentication files. and e-mail. This system supports virtual media, users and user group management, including adding, editing, deleting users, and setting the operation permissions of each user.
- Session management: It allows users to operate servers via KVM and choose channels to enter the server management interface.
- Audit management: Audit management means that the user starts recording the operation screen after logging in to the IV3 management platform until the user logs out of the IV3 system. The recorded content includes all operations in the main window of the KVM system and the window screen of the operations of each server that is taken over.
