Background
Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport is located on the east bank of the Pearl River estuary, the airport is 32 kilometers away from Shenzhen City, and is a modern large-scale international airport integrating sea, land, air and rail combined transportation in China.
It was officially opened to traffic in October 1991, and on November 28, 2013, the new terminal T3 was officially opened, and the original Terminals A and B, as well as the international terminal, were suspended at the same time. To ensure the smooth flow of airport data, the airport needs to centrally control and monitor the servers.
Requirements
Terminal T3 of Shenzhen Bao’an airport had 20 servers stored separately in 2 cabinets. And the distance between servers was over 10m. The server room was operating all day. The staff always enter and exit the server room to check devices. Therefore, the following list was the requirements:
- Achieve centralized management of 20 servers.
- Use Cat5 to connect conveniently.
- Reliable and stable product.
- Conveniently monitor the servers in the server room and monitoring center.
