KVM Extender Solution for the Steel Industry

Kinan KVM Extender in the Steel Industry

KVM Solution

Distributed remote digital control center become an integral part of IT system because steel production requires simultaneous monitoring of production processes at different locations. The steel industry has very demanding equipment requirements, and its equipment needs to be reliable, repairable, and simple to use so that it can adapt to the harsh operating environment.

In the harsh environment, Kinan KVM equipment can first eliminate all kinds of radiation interference in its working environment without failure. In addition, a large number of computers and auxiliary equipment need to be installed in the control room. To optimize the production process and the deployment of computers in the control room, the computers should be moved out of the control room and installed on the racks in the server room. One of the important features of Kinan KVM devices is that they can centrally manage a wide range of production via an IT system, to ensure that the maintenance time of the system is reduced to a minimum and the operating efficiency is significantly improved.

  • KFH162/P/K
  • KDF4K
  • IDC1000/2000

If the requirements cannot be met in the point-to-point application, Kinan KVM Matrix Distributed Extender can be used to significantly improve the access efficiency.

With distributed matrix extenders, multiple users can remotely access the computers installed in the computer room at the same time. In addition to being able to extend and switch computer signals, distributed remote digital control centers also provide sophisticated security management functions. Kinan IDC series KVM extenders can provide a perfect signal extension solution to support employees to work with only one computer. IDC series extenders support point-to-point extension of 40km computer signal over gigabit network switches, which is convenient for distributed computer system access.

Display Freezes

When the monitor in the control room has no signal due to a KVM signal connection problem, the screen will freeze. When the screen is frozen, the final picture stays on the screen and flashes in a red frame. This function allows users to troubleshoot and restore the system timely.

The high bandwidth of the Kinan KVM extender enables high-frequency data acquisition for specific production links, realizing fast data upload and accurate real-time issuance of control instructions and guaranteeing the operation stability of devices in the production line.
